Sometimes aftermarket is good but there's no way I'd ever put anything else into my M.B. They're extremely good and well-made and they work (car doesn't lose or burn a single drop of oil with 120k miles on it now).

That's interesting. I know I've used both Porsche and Mahle filters in the past and don't recall any difference. Maybe because Mahle is still a huge step above Fram.....
