RIP Elmore Leonard.
One of my favorite contemporary authors. Witty, intelligent and diverse ("Get Shorty" "Cuba Libre"). I eagerly awaited his new books and pretty much binge-read till the last page. He will be missed.

In addition to outstanding dialogue, quick pace and with awesome and terrible psychological insight, Leonard perfected the skill of writing stories that were very easily adapted to movies. Some pieces could easily be called screenplays.
RIP. |

Definitely one of my favorites. Up in Honey's Room and Swag were two of my favorites. At least I have not read all of his stuff so I probably have another year or two to enjoy his work.
