This morning, left side,. Woman ran stop sign, in a hurry, admitted to it. Said she was sorry.

I'm heartbroken.

That's just awful. Looks like a hard hit, she could have killed you in a lesser car and on a MC, you'd be dead for sure. Are you in Canada?

Wow....that's scary. My DD had a slight accident in the driveway at 5 mph (max). I'm shocked at the damage it inflicted. Glad you were not hurt (assuming).

Very sorry to see. Yes, that's totalled, IMO and I've told some to fix some bad damage. You must be shaken up in more that one way.

Zeke's right... the car is totaled, the tub itself is bent. Beautiful car too, very sorry! But VERY glad that you are OK!

The paperwork for the car show in the windshield? Leave it there for the insurance adjuster.

Sorry for your loss of a nice car. The good news is the car did it's job and kept you safe.

I would have already had a lawyer by now. No matter how nice the lady was, she nearly killed you and even if she has insurance, they will fight as hard as they can. Was she on the phone, texting, drinking coffee, then.......Two of my neighbors have had been hit and in both cases the offender's insurance said initially "well if you had not been in the intersection, no accident would have taken place"! I would start at a million and let them work down a bit........

I had a similar accident in my '74 and got the approx value of the car...at the low end. Would you expect more than the value of the car of not injured?

Sorry for the loss of the car. Soft tissue damage to you? I do not understand how folks take red lites and stop signs so lightly. Red lite means stop. Stop sign means stop. When somebody hits me- I just want to ream them out. Which I do . Make sure you get adequate compensation. And you want a decent loaner car too.....

That is a pretty hard center punch, like others have said "thank heavens you are OK.' With that said you should see a doc in the next day or so. Lots of things can show after a hit like that. Sorry for the loss of your car.

Really glad you are OK. The damage to the car really sucks. I would definitely buy the car from the insurance company for the parts. The whole situation is a royal PITA.
