Saw them many years ago at rfk. First and last time I ever saw a concert in such a venue. We didn't know what song they were playing until half way through the tune. Horrible acoustics.

Heard a funny interview of Joe Walsh with Bob & Tom where he says 'I know I played with Ozzie cause we have the posters that say we did'.

Id hope The Eagles- one of the great bands- wouldn't be using auto tune. They are such fantastic singers and players, with such an awesome catalogue. I hope they go out and kill it.

Ive seen Bruce Springsteen three times in the last few weeks- the things we do for our SOs- and Im still gobsmacked. Im not/wasn't a fan. Jeebus, Ive never seen shows as good. An 18 piece band, 3.5 - 4 hour shows. All real, real instruments, real amps, being driven on stage by the players, no tricks. Different sets, entire albums, faultlessly delivered. The guy is 64 years old, fit as a fiddle and he just does not stop.

I think its great to see a "heritage" act setting the live concert benchmark, proving that this music still has legs. Starts a US tour soon- recommended.

I love the Eagles but the tickets are always a bit too pricey for my tastes. I do think their singing is legit though, if it's not please don't tell me, I don't want to know that. But then I don't buy tickets anyway so what the heck.

I have seen some excellent tribute bands and have wondered when will I transition and prefer to see a tribute band vs the old original band that's gotten too old.

The trouble comes when the Band starts to sound like a Tribute Band.

Joni Mitchell upon talking about Jim Hendix's death said that artists have to make transitions in their work in order for them to grow. Either that or they either burn out or fade away.

Never was a fan but am addicted to music films so picked up the eagles doc last week and watched it about 5 times so far. Love joe Walsh and never realized how great don felder is. A shame what happened between them (felder vs don and glen)

Walsh married Marjorie Bach (sister of Barbara Bach and sister-in-law of Ringo Starr) in Los Angeles on December 13, 2008.

I heard Henley and Frey were the only members touring because they fired everyone else.

Hasn't been the same since they booted Feldner. How many hits have they had since he left, 1?
He didn't get the much-deserved credit for writing their hits in the 70's but he contributed more than they'll admit.

So where would one get one of these machines, and would it also work on my ....uh.... a guitar?

Yes, there is one where you can fix just one out-of-tune string on a guitar. Much easier to just tune the guitar, though!
