Got hit with an axe in the neck.
Not really, just a little carotid artery blockage (98%).
Doesn't look that bad now but every once in a while I'll catch someone looking at it. Kinda sucks. Oh well, could have been worse, I guess.

a little cut on the back of my leg from a broken mirrror which required an 8" nerve graft to restore partial feeling and function to my foot. there's another bigger one on the side from the lawnmower accident and another from skin graft on front.

Okay, I take back my girly scars as completely unworthy.

Lots of scars from lots of po'd cats I've treated...or at least tried. Plenty of nasty bites too but the don't leave visible scars unless they get infected.

None of my scars are as showy as those, I was showing off once doing wheelies on someone else's motorcycle and didn't set it down in time, ran it into a garage door, got a six inch scar on my left shin, a few weeks later I rolled a car outside Culiacan Mexico and as I crawled out the broken window, upside down, I cut that scab open again.
I fought a Mexican once and he bit chunks out of my face, I see them every time I shave, I have a little chin beard that covers the scar I got for a skin cancer operation and the scar in my left armpit isn't noticeable from breaking my shoulder twice getting off motorcycles. and then there was the divorce. but I'm fine now.

This one hurt the most......

edit:....bike shorts, got caught under a trailer and dragged. Resultant scar looks like a burn. Ten weeks to heal.

recent chosen "scar"

recent non-chosen chain saw accident from last weekend... not a scar yet....

7 stitches, 14cm long wound, week off work, and new found respect for an old friend...

my old friend, cut many a cord of wood with it prior to it biting me..

mid week healing

unfinished wood pile from dropping everything n driving myself to urgent care...

got very lucky with no tendon, ligament, or knee cap damage. I had shut the saw down, turned to set it down to stack and set my foot down on a previously cut round, stumbled and viola! lucky too in that it happened before 3pm so I had not been drinking beer.. feeling blessed to have it not been more serious...

Ha Ha!

That's awesome!

Back in my misspent youth my nickname at college was "Clint"

Having a very visible scar makes life different for sure.

In reality, I got off easy and thank the powers that be for a second chance.

Spending a week at Tufts in Boston and seeing those less fortunate, makes you count your blessings.

Should I post the Vasectomy suture that RIPPED open 3 days after removing the stitches?

Or the time I cut my right sack open on a bicycle stem?

I have a few others but they're boring
