2nd time in 28 years

It's been awhile since I have had to do this, 10 years I think, and a only the second time since '85 when I bought her.
Looks to be only a failed coil but my mind says upgrade time to a 3.0

I like the way think, and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Next time my 997 gets a flat, I'm dropping in a turbo.

MD she is a 71T. The mirrors are not stock for the year and actually the old girl is no garage queen or stock in many respects.

HD, after further review of the bank account it seems that the easy fix is in order.

Brad, long time brother! Seems to be just a bad coil but I will know more tomorrow when I diagnose the issue. That is if there is no surf

gshase - thanks, she does still look good!

Do you carry a spare coil? That is one of the essential spare parts to carry when driving a classic.

MD, the easiest way to tell pre-1974 is to look at the front parking lights embedded in the fenders vs. the bumper.

You're lucky, mine has been on the flatbed 4x in the last 3 years.
