I'd like to think that I would jump in the water right away as opposed to checking my phone to make sure I got it all.

Embraer 09-23-2013 07:52 AM

crazy how hard he hits the concrete, and the front does not bend or contort really, at all.

Embraer 09-23-2013 07:53 AM

and yes...id be diving into the water instantly.

GH85Carrera 09-23-2013 07:56 AM

Good roll cage. I hope the occupants were OK.

1990C4S 09-23-2013 08:13 AM

He locked the brakes and never turned the front wheels. Drove straight into the barrier from what I could see.

speeder 09-23-2013 08:18 AM

Yeah, that was strange.

HardDrive 09-23-2013 08:21 AM

Bizarre. He made no effort to turn. Failure in the steering?

widebody911 09-23-2013 08:40 AM

Looks like a failure in the carbon-based control system

motion 09-23-2013 08:41 AM

Obviously a youtube stunt.

speeder 09-23-2013 08:46 AM

If he was aiming for the pond, "Nice shot, man".

Either that or a loose nut behind the wheel.

Laneco 09-23-2013 08:57 AM

It would be very interesting to know what was going through the passengers mind as this transpired.

If he hit any harder it might have been his butt.

javadog 09-23-2013 09:15 AM

You can see he was turning the wheels just before impact but, since they were locked, nothing came of it. Hard hit...

Samir, TURN, TURN

Sami YOU MUST LISTEN TO ME!!!

Apparently the gas pedal got stuck. Luckily the driver and navigator only suffered very minor injuries and the damage to the car also seems to be less serious than expected. It couls have been much worse if they hit a more solid object than water.

kach22i 09-23-2013 11:15 AM

I think he chose a head on crumple zone impact, over a side crunching side impact (on his side no less) which may have crippled him for life.

Lots more car ahead of you, than on the side of you.

Bill Douglas 09-23-2013 12:24 PM

He was ordinary old "going too fast". When he hit the brakes he locked them up and the car carried on going straight ahead. All that smoke is tire smoke, and you can hear him accelerating very late towards the corner.

RWebb 09-23-2013 01:12 PM

what were the injuries?

Gene Wilkes 09-23-2013 01:16 PM

It's amazing that the guy pictured at the end of the video expresses no concern for the people in the car!!
