anyone looking for a 1976 BMW motorcycle ?

I've decided to sell or trade my 1976 BMW R90/6 motorcycle I'm just not riding her enough. She's in great shape and recently has had the carbs rebuilt by local BMW dealership, new tires front/rear, all fluids changed she runs very well. Has original front fairing and three rear hard bags. I would rate the bike a 8 out of 10. I would trade for a 17 ' center console boat or sell for $3500.00. I'm in Marietta Ga.

Try pinging Sithot over on the Early S boards. He collects vintage BMW bikes.

I don't think that's quite vintage enough for Tom.

Would look great without the fairing.

I'd be interested to know how "removeable" the fairing is as well. An aftermarket R90S fairing would really look cool. Last thing I need is another bike...but, well...

I'm sure the fairing is remove able. You'd probably have to rewire the turn signals. Not a big deal.

The fairing is removable it's just a few bolts and off it comes. You would have to source front blinkers but that's it.

Sometimes I'm glad I don't have a bigger garage. Actually, it's probably Mrs. Noah who's gladder about that. GLWTS.

I like the idiot light that reads "Brake Failure." 'Cause when I try on those binders and nothing slows down, it's great to be able to look down on the instrument panel for that little light to confirm I'm in deep doo doo.

Someone got a great deal...

Would have made good commuter bike for me... but the missus vetoed the idea of a motosickle.

Probably a good thing, at my age my reaction time is not what it used to be.

Carry on.

I have cash in hand and the new buyer has bike in hand. Sad to see her go but life goes on. Maybe now I'll drive the Porsche's more.
