Describe your driving style

I just finished watching Magnus Walker's 66 Irish green 911 video. What a great video! In the video he describes his driving style as "spirited", regardless of which of his cars he's in. I would describe my driving style similarly. How about you? Do you drive with "anger"?

Meat Loaf...

mattdavis11 10-11-2013 10:46 AM

Mood dependent.

GH85Carrera 10-11-2013 10:52 AM

Perfect.

There are lots of morons and idiots all around me however.

Amail 10-11-2013 11:01 AM

Smooth, maintain good racing line, courteous to other drivers.

Bill Douglas 10-11-2013 11:01 AM

An aggressive stylist.

There was a guy driving down the M1 north of London and his wife phoned him to say be careful they are saying on the radio there is some idiot driving the wrong way down the M1. He replied "SOME IDIOT, there are thousands of idiots going the wrong way."

Very rarely do you see my brake lights.

On the road, I try to remove emotion, stay calm, look ahead, and maximize momentum. I'm pretty laid back when the is straight and there isn't traffic. I also am at a track every week, or more.

Old and slow in the left lane with my blinker on, blowing smoke out my 4" straight piped extra loud diesel pickup that does not have a off switch.

Then on weekends I ride motorcycles around race tracks pretending to be fast.

I drove a friend of mine from Denver to Steamboat Springs CO, (about 150 miles or so).

He gave me a big compliment, I dont think he realized it, but...

When his wife asked how the trip up was he told her:

"Well, we made it here a lot quicker than if I were driving. Probably much safer too."

Its not how fast you go, but how you go fast.

Agree hypervigilance is necessary as P cars sit low. Be prepared for quick evasive manoeuvring. Off ramp, no traffic etc accelerate like heck and corner hard. I do not tailgate anywhere. I am not aggressive with other cars.
