compare tiger woods to a few of the other sports heroes. millionaires who, if they do in fact speak english, can't even put a proper sentence together. dopers, plain old thugs, bullys, gun toting morons. aside from sports, we have the MTV crowd, with their nasty excuse for music called "rap". putting dirty unwashed scum up as life style models.
what did tiger do that was so wrong? screw girls. clinton didn't get half the heat tiger's getting. martin luther king? same story. mohammeds' wife aisha, tried to get him to quit screwing his slave girls. some of the black
pinheads on tv are irritated by the fact that tiger was only boning white girls. not enough equal opportunity. larry king made it obvious that he would do anything (tropic thunder "drink the gravy") to get tiger on the show. tiger woods is owed an apology from the mass media. i will watch nascar before i watch golf. i really hate nascar. but, without tiger woods, golf is nothing. my point is, mass media really did a rotten thing to this guy. all for a few pennies. just my opinion,,,, jp

From what I was able to comprehend.... You can't put yourself in the public eye when it is convenient. When Tiger made hundreds of millions of dollars due to his celebrity he gave up his privacy in return. He could have just kicked ass on the course then gone home to his family, nobody forced him to be the face of golf, Nike, Gatorade, etc. Now fame is his worst enemy. Were he simply a good golfer this would have still been a story, but nothing of this magnitude. Lets also not forget that the guy was banging at least a dozen different women with a wife and kids at home, he isn't exactly without blame.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Image is everything. When you're cashing those paychecks, get used to it. Your public is your boss and determines whether you live or die. "I just want my privacy, and my family needs time to deal with this" doesn't cut it in todays paparazzi driven society.

No one made 20 million for a film in the old days much less to play a sport (in today's dollars), they worked under contract, lived VERY comfortably and all publicity was directed by the Studio or in the case of sports, by the team. Heck, a lot of athletes sold cars in the offseason (albeit as a "draw" to the business, "Hey, I bought my car from Ernie Banks!") The times they are a changin'
it's unfortunate but it goes with the territory.

I have two answers to your question, I don't watch the other crap performers, and secondly, as far as sports go, golf is an individual's game and its harder to blend in. Whereas in football or basketball you could say"some of the players of team X", and have more chance of getting away with it.

He deserves nothing but the jokes. He was paid mega millions to represent several companies. When you represent a company you are expected to act like a stand up guy. He could have turned down all the sponsor money and been very rich just from golf.

Oh BS. He did it to himself and deserves no appology. He deserves the humiliation and ridicule he has brought upon himself. So do those other scum you mentioned.
The only people appologizing to him or making excuses for him are apparently of low moral character, just like tiger.

You go into the kitchen, better be ready to take the heat.

You need to go back to 3rd grade and learn how to read and write, then get someone who has grown up to "skool" you on what is correct and what is not correct. Screwing around on your wife who is home with your two children is NOT correct BTW.
