Two big events in racing yesterday.
Time was, in Pelican off topic this would have been posted by now....oh well.
• Ben Spies retired. I really would have liked watching Ben become an alien, but he really didn't ever have it in him. • John Force won his 16th (!) Funny Car championship. He beat his daughter Courtney to win the race (he now has 138 wallys!) and if you think that Courtney was asked to lay down, well here are the times from the final round: (W) John Force (Castrol GTX Mustang) 0.085 4.062 310.63 (L) Courtney Force (Traxxas Mustang) 0.089 4.085 319.22 MOV: 0.0279 seconds . That is a real life drag race.

Ben was just too fragile, mentally. I blame it on his mom. That's crazy that John Force won another championship!
