Indian F1
P1 and P2 over and the usual suspects are where they usually are. We need something new and UNusual to spice up what's left of this season. Maybe something will happen come raceday.

Alonso's total point helmet is unusual, that's about it.

Actually, tire problems may spice things up a bit. Seems like the fronts and in some cases the rears were going away badly in practice, even Red Bull. Kimi seemed to get more out of his fronts than the rest. Could be interesting. I'm going to watch.
Unfortunately, Vettel has led every session and won every race in the history of the GP of India. One can only hope for a different result this year. He was fastest in practice.

Grosjean was quick again., Maybe we'll get to hear the Marseillaise this time. Just like it was sung in the movie "Casablanca" to drown out the German National Anthem.
Between Shumi and Vettel we've heard it enough for now. |

This is hilarious. Practice and qualifying determine the outcome, it's not a race. Can you can tell us who's going to be on the pole?

Vettel.
I can also tell you who will win. I can also tell you who will retire with a mysterious mechanical failure. I can also tell you who will almost get pole but will fade back through the pack as the race unfolds.

I went by that track recently on my way to Agra. Amazing facility.

Mixed strategy on the pointed end might excite things up, we hope. One of these days something will happen.
Comes on at the perfect time to watch a live race, 0630 Atlantic time. Seb is surrounded by Mercs Rosberg and Ham I just know Ham is going to be the first one into turn one. |

I miss the good old days when there was a reasonable possibility that the Red Bulls would take each other out...

The real news is who comes in second.
BTW, when can we talk about who won? Is there a waiting period and if so how long is it? I don't want to pissoff the DVR boys.

Wow, did you see the small crowd for qualification? Really small for the race too, lots of lawn seats. Wonder why it's not coming back here next year. Shame for such a nice track. Smog was also bad, just like China. And the greenbeans say the UShas bad air, yea, right.

I always do something like this:
***SPOILERS!*** Vettel won! ![]() I figure if that irritates someone, they aren't trying hard enough to not know the result. I generally don't check the Internet, period, if I don't want to know who won. But NBC Sports did ruin it for me once this year..

I just do not get F1 fans...
They want to see technical innovation, and complain that the crazy stuff that gave certain cars edges back in the day never happens because the rules are so tight. But when that innovation does happen, they complain like stink over the same team winning... ![]() Then they look back fondly of how great it was years later... Congrats to Red Bull on a fantastic driver/car combo this season. Absolutely amazing.
