Anyone planning on driving ex Texas to Rennsport V ?
I'm contemplating a roadtrip from San Antonio to Rennsport V in Monterey end of September.
I'm wondering if any others in Texas are planning the same thing ? Last edited by pc100porsche; 02-19-2015 at 09:46 AM.. |

Bring mufflers or you may be asked to leave. Sad but true. Other than that what a beautiful place!

I met with the DFW boys in Durango. Bob Mayo, Bob Aines, Dave, all with kick ass long hoods. The drive from Durango to Tonopah was epic.

![]() Somewhere in Utah. Someone pointed out to the guy in the 997 the cords on the insides of his rear tires were showing. Bummed them out. We somehow lost the Boxsters and there were 6-7 Texas guys that ended up more or less together till Tonopah. ![]()

I think we got spread out on the Extraterrestrial Highway as some went for a buck fifty cruse. I think everyone was back together as we went over Tioga Pass. Good times.
Repeat with a slightly different route this time. |

![]() EDIT: Ok, just checked and apparently they lift the sound restrictions for big events like Moto GP, ALMS, Historics, etc. The rest of the time, it's 92db.
