He's played a lot of characters who are horrible.
Frank n Furter is obvious, One role many don't know about is he played Satan in Legend.  But I think the answer you are looking for is Pennywise. One of my favorite actors. Man is brilliant in any role. Suffered a massive stroke earlier this year. Hope he recovers.

Also in Congo, the voice of Bruce in Finding Nemo (and several other animations), etc. Considering the success of the others (execpt susan sarandon) from RHPS, not bad.
