"He appeared to be clinching his buttocks..."

Don't worry, your first responders are here to serve and protect you.
Can Police Paralyze Me and Probe my Ass for Drugs? 6th Circuit Says No http://harmlesserrorblog.blogspot.com/2013/08/6th-circut-felix-booker-involuntary-anal-search.html http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d3GtPNwJyN...anal-probe.jpg |
Guy deserves every penny he will get, and then some.
|
Oh.....my......God. You'd think after the 3rd or 4th time they searched his ass they would have confirmed that there was nothing there.
|
Woooowww!! That story HAS to be an urban legend. Otherwise.. holly crap (no pun intended).
|
And then the sent him a BILL?!?
|
Since a New Mexico jury gave some old bat $2.6 million for spilling hot coffee on herself, they might give this guy $2.6 billion and in my opinion it wouldn't be excessive.
There has to be more to this story. |

He did however "Come Clean."

charging him for the procedures?
that's what i call adding insult to injury! generally i am against silly lawsuits, but i hope he sues them all into oblivion. |
Everybody will be clenching their buttocks in Deming after this.
|
Crazy story. He needs to win big in a lawsuit.

Reading that made me clench a little.
|
" the warrant was only valid in Luna County, where Deming is located. The Gila Regional Medical Center is in Grant County. That means all of the medical procedures were performed illegally "
They all should be charged with rape. |

And all this happened without a valid search warrant! A few people need to go to jail. |

On the bright side... Mr. Eckert is pretty sure he doesn't have colon cancer.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1383668126.jpg |
I guess he had to pass it so they could find out what was in it.
|
Quote:
every one of the people involved with this (police/hospital/judge for warrant) should do enough time with the general population in prison to get their own colonoscopy from the brothers sheesh, and then send them each a bill for it, 3 enemas a couple of xrays not enough , they did everything but make him a human sock puppet, damn:eek: |
WTF.
Pretty sure I would've been tazed/shot for "resisting", had I been in that fellow's unfortunate shoes. |
Mooon Rivver!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1383669628.jpg This simply can't be right: What Happened While there, Eckert was subjected to repeated and humiliating forced medical procedures. A review of Eckert's medical records, which he released to KOB, and details in the lawsuit show the following happened: 1. Eckert's abdominal area was x-rayed; no narcotics were found. 2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found. 3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found. 4. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found. 5. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a second time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found. 6. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a third time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found. 7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found. 8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert's anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines. No narcotics were found. |
no matter the background this is terrible, the police must have felt something was wrong to redo so many procedures. I assume that xray in the video isn't his because one pelvic area looks offset to the other!
He must have been restrained as well I assume if he didn't consent. Wrong on so many levels! |

Police have conducted an internal review and found no wrongdoing by officers.
Just posting this in case any of you want to quote it in a year or so. |

This is the type of behavior that should result is some doctors, DAs and Cops going to jail.

I'm just glad to see there's actually some limit of Govt intrusion (pun intended) that people will not support.
Although give it 10 years. |
This is of course a career ending event for ANYONE else unless you are a a member of the teflon suit gang who can obviously run around in your State/county gang and play police state all day long.
Just another example of the erosion of our rights put into action. I hope this guy sticks a pack of lawyers up the @$$es of all parties involved and turns them up to eleven. |

Why aren't law enforcement officials bonded and insured independently? The taxpayers need to be indemnified from this ridiculous behavior. If officers shared financial risk through insurance you can bet the Police Officers Association would do a better job of weeding out cops who have issues. |
Sure, big payout for this guy both from the police and the hospital. Then, the cops and Drs involved should go through the same procedure. You know, they had to get tased to be able to carry a taser.
Insane, x-ray, 2 manual exams, 3 enemas, another x-ray and a colonoscopy |

My belief is that this has severely lowered the public's trust and opinion of what "law" enforcement is. Its a broken system from top to bottom that needs a major overhaul. If and or when a period of civil unrest occurs it will quite simply be "us" against "them" in the truest form regardless of whether you are law abiding or not. |
They should have used an ultrasonic probe on him.

More of our "finest" doing what they do best. "Protect and serve" my ass. Oh wait... Someone else's ass in this case.
What happens when he next person has a serious complication from surgery or some medical procedure demanded by some overzealous, "hoo-rah" cop and a kangaroo court judge who just rubber stamps LE's warrant requests? Then what? More "blue wall of silence"? Probably, sorry to say. Then the cops will all then giggle about it in their barracks while the innocent dead person's family is left to grieve - just as happens every day I'm sure when people "accidentally" get popped. This kind of stuff is SO not funny and underscores just how far we've gotten from asserting the rights given to us by the Founding Fathers. The cops should never have let this "search" get as far as it did - warrant or no warrant. Whatever happened to a duty to disregard an unlawful order? Whomever the person is (officer or judge) that kept demanding procedure after procedure when it was clear that there was nothing to be found should absolutely be in prison and barred from ever holding any position of public trust or authority again, including forfeiture of any pension. No question. They should have just gone "old school" and just planted a bag of weed. |
I'm a little backed up today. Maybe I should do this "trick" to save money on my health expenses...

The article states "Law enforcement thought that was probable cause to suspect that Eckert was hiding narcotics in his anal cavity"
So first off they do an x-ray and find nothing. Is there any possible way to hide drugs AND some sort of container inside a rectum and have it NOT show up on the X-ray? The guy went to Wal Mart not a border crossing. Who hides drugs up their ass to go to Wal Mart? OK, the Wal Mart shoppers can be rather strange but come on, Wal Mart is not a border crossing like coming back from Mexico. Did the cop figure he crammed the drugs up his ass after he was pulled over for rolling a stop sign. I really don't want to know but what is the fastest it is possible to drop your pants and underwear insert drug container and pull you pants back up while sitting behind the wheel of a car? The entire case is unreasonable. |
If you read the lawsuit, it appears it all started because the cop felt Eckert was being rude. I hope he sues the cop's ass off!
