Max is one cute pup . Congrats on the addition to the family .

What a cutie, and a relative mutt, so stands a good chance of being healthier than a pure bred almost anything.

70# isn't too bad, especially if you have a house and yard.

Got this off Marketplace several months ago for $40. It got run over but still worked! Then I messed with it and it didn't. Finally took it to Hilti and the guy said is have to pay for shipping to the mainland, and if not repairable, and I wanted it back, I'd need to pay for shipping back to me. With that caveat, I said go for it. One week later, it was dropped off at my house. New case, switch, motor and whatever else. No charge and works like new!

More online auction stuff:

3 leather chairs which I brought to work to use in my office. I kept two and gave one to my assistant. $11.00 for all three

Wooden Cabinet - antique and in very good condition. $16 - only 4 people bidding.

Car cover made for Porsche, specifically for a 911, $20.

Bill Douglas 06-17-2025 11:28 PM

Good score. Around here if it's anything to do with Porsche the price goes waaaay up.

Rescued this box fan from the trash. Whenever I see a fan out by the curb - it comes home with me to be checked out.

I use them in my outdoor work spaces plus on my front deck - which serves as a work area and a sitting spot complete with OTA TV setup, stereo, and bar height swivel sling chair.

This one ran perfect - just needed cleaning......:)

Scored this at Lowe’s yesterday in the discount section.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751085705.jpg
Nice overhead LED light with motion sensor.
I checked to make sure it works, being worried since it is literally bent Oberon one end, it did. Not bad for $15

This is not a Craigslist score but even better. My elderly neighbors gave me a few sets of matching patio furniture stating that it was too heavy for them to move. They are flipping several houses across the state, and I think they have got more than they can handle - they've been working on my next-door house for 10 years. They are now 86 yrs old.

I recently purchased a house that I am refurbishing for a future Airbnb, and it has 3 large patios. My neighbors gave me approximately 19 pieces of older wrought iron patio furniture which will work out great for me.

I am very grateful and tonight I will mow their lawn and clean up their yard before they get home on Friday.

Nice score, Vern!

Picked up this teak table yesterday along with a matching chair on the next block over. There was a second chair but I only wanted one.

You can't go wrong with teak, it lasts forever.

That's what I was thinking. Hope to get it cleaned up this weekend.

Then yesterday next door to one of my accounts....some pipe and a couple pieces of lumber.

I can use that pipe with some of my canopy work to help with support. Just jet them down into the ground with a hose and pipe attachment.

It's funny - that pipe was there a couple weeks ago but was not cut up like this. Too long to take with me. Guess the contractor decided to cut it up for the G-men......worked out good for me! :p

Nice tee shirt laying in the road. SR 44 too - very busy highway! I saw it heading west and then after a few errands in the area ended up at the intersection - first vehicle in line - and the shirt was right there so jumped out and grabbed it.

Size XL tall....perfect! :)

Oh man.......beach town here. Lots of LSV's....and jeeps....golf carts.....so beach towels fly out and land on the road ALL the time! No one stops to pick them up. Their loss. Most are in VERY good condition. Some freshly laundered even. :D I wash and fold them and have a stack that almost reaches from the floor to the ceiling right now!

Picked up 3 more bicycles. One, a woman's beach cruiser, works almost perfectly.

Then today this padded swivel stool. Will re-tape and it will be handy working on my bikes......

The "NT" stands for Northern Tool:

Some time ago my wife and sister-in-law cleaned out a house that their aunt was moving out of and I was told that I could have any tools and other things that I wanted. I found several fishing rods and reels and just put them in my storage building and kind of forgot about them. Last night I decided to see what they all looked like, cleaned them up, and made sure they worked. The rods and reels belonged to the aunt's husband who had passed away and he apparently liked Shakespeare products. They are all Shakespeare reels with matching rods. There is a Durango reel on an Eagle Claw rod, a Firebird reel on a Firebird rod, a Tiger reel on a Tiger rod, and there is a Mantis reel on a Mantis rod. The Mantis reel is missing a retainer ring around the button so, it doesn't work but I would like to fix it.
The Diawa reel is on its original Diawa rod and belonged to my step-dad, I had it in my storage building along with the others and just included it because I think it's cool. I have never used Shakespeare stuff so I hope these rods and reels are decent quality.
The Firebird set up still has the clear protector sleeves on the rod so, I don't think it has ever been used.
