Same outfit that does the VA one, I believe. Reciprocity list. http://www.ccrkba.org/?page_id=1217 Neither OR or WA honor each others. Does not appear WA requires a course. WA State Licensing (DOL) Official Site: How to get your license - Concealed Pistol License

Thanks, took the test.....11/11. Not the cheapest at $70. Oregon gets 19 states and OR/WA 26. OR/WA is not reciprocal, almost making you get both.
CA allows reciprocal rights with NOBODY.....but other states will accept CA's. ![]()

The map is throwing me off. Is it saying that the red states don't allow CCW? I have had CCWs in FL and GA, currently have one for NC.

IF you have an Oregon AND Washington CCW then the states in blue will honor them. Red....no.
You would need CCWs from those or other states that are reciprocal. I believe UT and Florida are needed to get the max of 45 states without being a resident. use this for your locale. https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/travel/

Just took the CCW class for San Bernardino County, they still issue them and are proud of it. Was told DO NOT carry outside California with a CA CCW, no written letter of reciprocity with any other states. NONE. PS. Just got the phone call CCW is officially ready. Took about 6 months total. ![]()

The website claims that CA CCWs are accepted as shown below....might want to check. Just because a clerk says so, don't make it so...

Washington state used to be a very strong bastion of 2nd Amendment support. Our state Constitution has much clearer verbiage regarding the people's right to keep and bear arms than the United States Constitution. We are a "shall issue" state with strong preemption laws to boot.
Kind of hard to believe with how the state has swung politically in the last couple of decades - state politicians have said out loud that "we" (actually they) would like to model many state laws after those of California (you know, since they have been such a raging success down there). Thank God for a state Constitution and preemption laws. That Constitution and those laws were written back when Washington was a predominantly rural, blue collar logging, fishing, and then airplane building state. The massive influx of displaced Silicon Valley escapees, techies, yuppies, and other such hand-wringing ninny tree-huggers have not yet been able to tear down that foundation, although they keep trying. Until then, Washington state will enjoy some of the most reasonable concealed (and open) carry laws in the nation. Of course, ultimately though, Ted Nugent is right - "the Second Amendment is my carry permit"...

Both my wife and I have one in WA state. The one from Florida (non-resident) gets you the broadest coverage and the cost is $100.00 with no test. You can order the application form from several sites in Florida.

Drivers licences are ok in all 50 states. Marriage licenses are legal cross the boarder. Why then are CCW's not?
