What to buy for around 30K?

I am probably going to sell my 2006 Dodge diesel truck to a friend of mine. I used it to pull a travel trailer, but no longer have the trailer. And I will probably get rid of the 2000 Boxster.

So I figure I'll replace them with something, I'm thinking Mercedes SL or maybe a Jag. I'll probably put around 10k a year on the car, just going golfing or to the airport. Ive never owned a Jag so I'm a little leary of them, but love the way they look.

Anything else I should consider? Any years to look at or models? Years or models to stay away from.

I have come to the conclusion I will always need a truck in the fleet. I used to have a Dodge 2500 diesel quadcab PU , but my wife refused to drive it because it was too big. I bought a shortbox regular cab f150 last year. Small enough with a 126 in wheelbase that my wife will drive it without complaint and big enough to do what most pick ups do. It goes to Home depot and garden and antique stores and can tow up to 8000 lb if needed.
maybe a Volvo turbo station wagon would come close.
