OK, the attachment in the first one got opened. I ran a McAfee total scan with no results for viruses or spyware. I have gotten several more of these e-mails in the last two days. I will be calling my bank and credit card holders this morning and suspending my paypal account. What else should I do ?

I got about 9 of these. I panicked when I got the first one and tried to open attachment on my phone, wouldn't open and i sent a reply "made in error".
I then noticed the email address was a hotmail.com account. Figured it out BARCLAYS would not use a hotmail account.
MC checked ok, bank ok. Seem no virus.

Is it possible a hack at Pelican?

Luckily for me the attachment wouldn't open either. I ran a full scan afterward and nothing came up, called bank and credit card companies...nothing. So, things look ok for now. I went into my email account and blocked all of the different addresses they have been using (16+). Time will tell. F#@k*^g lowlife bastages.

You could change your internet service provider. I switched from hotmail to telus and I have a lot less junk mail now.

Have a more complicated password.
