in fairness, the Carolina game was a clear case of the niners bringing their own refs.
I was none too happy about that game. it happens. |

You turn the ball over three times, you shouldn't expect to win a big game.

It all comes down to the play calling, not the officiating. SF's O.C. alienated the QB run/scramble in the 2nd half, which is C.K's bread and butter, not his arm. C.K plays sand lot ball, exploit it, but restrain the up for grabs. Simple as that.
C.K. reminds me of Romo, it's just a matter of time until the big let down, never going to win the big one.

It sure was an Ugly win. Lots of blown calls on both sides in this game. It's a shame what happened to Bowman too... Regardless, SF turned the ball over and couldn't keep it moving when they needed to, the officials didn't have much to do with that. Boneheaded pass to Crabtree in the end. That is never a good idea against the Seattle secondary. Richard Sherman is truly embarrassing when he has a microphone in his face. Fantastic talent, but zero class. Not every Seahawks fan is Sherman fan.
It'll be interesting to see what happens against Denver.

The bad calls were nothing compared to the lack of calls on Denver for the incessant pick plays they ran against the Pats......even when the best Pat defensive back was knocked out of the game by a pick.
Hawks vs 9ers. Both played sloppy......could'a gone either way.

I agree, but work on your grammar. Seattle should have taken that neutral zone infraction, and declined the TD, to make it more interesting.

I don't think Seattle was going for the TD on that 4th down until it became a free play, which was a smart move.

It was pretty clear they wanted an offside call for 5 yards or a NZI, maybe a PI call too. Wilson drew the DE into the neutral zone. Seattle purposely caused that mayhem, no doubt, SF bought it.

How can Sherman be all "crack-head gangsta" with Erin Andrews yet coherently string together and express his thoughts (and in English) 10 minutes later? Jeebus. Pick one and stay with it.

Denver vs. Seattle.
Horses vs. Hawks, nope. The Weed Bowl!

I see they just changed the start time, it's now 4:20
(somebody had to say it, and I'm in Seattle. Go Hawks!)

I think the 9ers would be a better team up against Denver's offensive line - and how they protect Manning.
. The 9ers defensive rush would challenge the O line of Denver much better than Seattle's will...IMO. . 9ers defensive rush chased Wilson. . The game was a bummer for me. Next year.

True, but that sort of thing happens so often (other teams, other games) it's almost expected now.

Crabtree made some disparaging remarks about Sherman and his family during the offseason and Sherman put it back on him. Sherman and Baldwin were thrown under the bus by their then coach Harbaugh at Stanford for the upcoming draft and Baldwin went undrafted and Sherman went in the 5th round. That's the reason they dislike Harbaugh so much due to what he said about them to the scouts. Baldwin says he does not have a chip on his shoulder, it's a boulder. Sherman was way amped up at the initial on field interview, as he should have been since his team was going to the Super Bowl, but looked straight at the camera and said it as it was directed at Crabtree only. Like he always says, look at the numbers, 47 games 20 picks. Yes he has gotten beat a couple of times deep. That's going to happen. He studies film and baits the QB's into thinking they like what they see and then comes in for the pick or break up. The tip was perfect, it was the second time he did it in the last couple of games. If he would have batted it down, the clock would have stopped and the 9er's would still have a couple of shots at the end zone and their time outs. Smart play. You give Sherman no respect and you get it right back, only from a guy with a Masters Degree from Stanford in Communication, you might be in trouble. The refs had nothing to do with the Wilson td pass(Qbr 104), Baldwins huge return, Beast Mode td, 2 int's and a fumble by CK (Qbr 54). Take heart, you won the first half.

Agree with everything else you said, although it sort of looked like the hit on the punter was incidental to me.

Give Sherman no respect? You should look at youtube and all the video's of him mic'd up, taunting QB's before games. Telling RGIII he's going to "punch him in the mouth" as RGIII is walking away. Both guys are mic'd up and RGIII didn't say anything to Sherman. Sherman was also mic'd up when he got punched in the nose after the game by Trent Williams...I enjoyed that.
He's an uneducated moron that only proves some football players are given good grades as long as they produce on the field...Standford should be ashamed. Maybe he just shot up too many steroids before the game??
