A real Secret Santa...

Well it seems I truly have a secret Santa. I got a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries via fedex in a special cooler box. However there is no name as to who sent them. We are really grateful for this gift and would like to thank whomever it was that sent them....any of you out there send them?

David,

A real friend would not subject your poor veins to something like that!

Just send them up here. I'll save you!

Merry Christmas
Les

NICE!

How thoughtful and a nice "tasteful" gift at that.

David, would you mind sharing, if possible, the manufacturer/seller? I'm terrible at choosing the right gift for someone - but this would be a home run no matter who or what the occasion.

Thanks and....Yum!

I know who. If they wanted you to know they would have told you.

Sort of would spoil the Secret Santa theme though if everyone knew.

And it wasn't me.

Merry Christmas

Update on the strawberries......

Ordered some online for my Mom from Sheri's - they were delivered today. I was over there for dinner tonight and here's what they looked like......

Then....I discovered a local place - that also offered them. (Incredible Edibles) Went there today after work and picked up a dozen for a business acquaintance:

Cost wise Sheri's ended up at $49. including delivery and the local place $42. w/no delivery (they deliver for $12. but I chose to deliver them in person).

Summary.....if I do this again (and I will) I will use the local place (Incredible Edibles). Both products tasted good so quality didn't seem to be an issue.

YMMV.....

PS: Thanks again for your thread & info, David....

Those look great as well. I liked the fact that Shari's came completely coated and had no greenery on them so you could just pop the whole thing in your mouth. We finally discovered our santa was a friend of ours, a nurse, and the wife of my old keyboard player from Tarpon Springs that we keep in touch with.

Cool.

Good point about the greenery.

I'll mention that to my local purveyor and get their take.

I actually waited in their store for my order to be made. They gave me a couple samples while I waited....not a bad perk!

Thanks again for the post/thread.....good stuff!
