Recognize that I always throw in childish personal attacks to indicate anger.

This has been the most fun thread in weeks.

I run one in my cars and my wife's car at all times. You never know, and stupid people like to make up stupid stories that aren't true and don't always paint the picture in your favor. The video tells the real story.

I don't get where people think Bob is angry. If it wasn't for his comments I wouldn't have my daily gut laugh. Plus, he's paid his dues - this thread would be nothing without Bob's comments. Just sayin'...

Thanks for the cover, CountD.

Realistically, 30% of dues paid are pure wind. 70% are helping folks find vacuum leaks, of which, "insights" are all stolen from Tony.

Essentially, I have zero integrity. So if some Vegamite-suckin', kangaroo humpin' pantywaist wants to diss the Bobster, it's ok.

Just waiting for tidybouy to cough up the "crib" of the perp so we can get back to topic.

It just seems like everytime I see a comment from Bob he's being belligerent to someone because of their opinion, or is that his thing. Kinda reminds me of people who run out on roads and throw themselves in front of cars.. Just saying.

Nah for the most part - occasionally - of late - I will own that.

You have been on this board as long as me, you should know the difference.

One of my many therapists said, "Your style will piss some people off".

I said "What the hell do you know?"

I rest my case. :-)

Profound words Bob, you are quite the belligerent sesquipedalian scholar. I for one won't disrespect Americans or any other country or culture for that matter, regardless of people taking no offence. What I will say though is you are someone we would call Downunder full of "Piss and Wind". Oh and the word is "specific" not "pacific".

Attention: Moderators.....

There is really nothing technical (Porsche related matters) in these 5 pages of posts!!!!! Why not move it where it belongs (OT). This is slowly becoming a conflict between people from two great continents due to total misconception. USA, USA,.........

I have no idea what Bob actually meant by his comments. You Aussies need to break out the strine to completely derail the thread.

Part of the problem is a serious lack of a sense of humor on your part.

Bob's posts have a certain "style" that must be understood before one replies. It's not a hard style to get to know, but first you have to think before you reply.

Good lord people; enjoy some humour and stop feeling pixked on... Bob, thats funny stuff, you can harrass and pick on me anytime. Im short a short chubby Jewish kid, flame away.

I think the crazy dude is just an ******* not getting any satisfaction out of life and probably the wife.

Make that report with the cops and move on. If you see him again dont haggle or argue with, him just ask him kindly not to jump out in front of your car, smile and wish him a nice day. Your kindness doesn't mean weakness. Its easier to be nice and walk away with a smile and be a smarter (free from jail or the Springer show). Nice people dont need hassle and drama...

BTW- If things get ugly he wont expect it when you punch him in the throat and rip his ear off. Follow that up with a have a nice day :-O

This is great. I mean its outragous what is happening with this guy jumping at your car, but this thread is great. Please keep us posted with details. What a lunatic though. I would never run towards a moving car. Many people don't understand that an automobile can be a weapon to a human being, meaning you are not going to stop one in motion at a high rate of speed, and you also do not know where the car will end up. What I mean is if this guy jumped in front of your car, he could have gotten killed, you as well, from swerving and loosing control of the vehicle.

This guy has a serious problem. If you don't like living there cause of the road and cars speeding by, he should have moved. I think he is trying to come up with a story that you almost hit him and he wants to get $ out of it.

Report this right away before you get yourself and the Porsche in a situation you don't belong in.

Sorry, I am the original poster and I completely left out the fact that I have recently installed Elephant Racing Factory Rubber Bushings, New Bilstein HD Struts, New PMB A-Calipers, New Rotors, New Porterfield Pads, New ATF Master Cylinder, New Lemforder Ball Joints. I also installed New Bilstein Sports in the rear, New PMB M-Calipers, New Rotors, New Porterfield pads, all new brake lines. I have also improved my times at auto-x by a few seconds per lap since last year. I believe that all of the above help me swerve around the nut job and enabled me to pull into my parking lot, turn off the car, look straight into my passenger's eyes and say..... "Porsche, There is No Substitute" !

I've attached some "Technical" photos below of my handy work:
