Sugah Bowl
That first half has been amazing. I sure hope OU can keep it up. To score on 5 straight possessions against Bama is not something anyone does. Hopefully we can get Bama to do a few of those special punts they did for Aurburn. I know they will be tough to beat in the 4th quarter.

Woooooo hooooooo
What a game. Wow. Just wow. Most of the local sports casters did not really think OU had a chance.

I guess nobody did except the players and the coaches.
What a smack down. Ending the 4 takeaways and 6,7 sacks with a strip on McCarron and a TD by the D. and THEN... the D. winds up with the ball after they kick off! I still think McCarron is an xlnt QB and a sterling character example. I'd take him & Mariotta (UO) over FSU and A&M QB's any day as human beings. |

Incredible. I thought Bama would beat them by every bit of the 17 point spread. Guess Big Game Bob still has some magic left.

Yea, Bamma has a lot of top players. It was just a night where nothing went their way and all the luck was with OU.

Not the game I was expecting at all! No way did I expect so much offense. What a bizarre last minute. Great game.

I'm more PO'd at this loss vs the Iron Bowl. Auburn beat Bama by a freak play but Oklahoma simply whipped the Tide. No flukes tonight......congratulations to the Sooners for well deserved victory.

That was a fun game to watch. I agree that A J is a class act. The OU QB seemed like a nice kid during his post game interview. He is only a red shirt freshman and is going to be tough to beat during the next 3 years.

All true.....but not this year. Bob backed up his comments on the SEC.

It's hard to overcome 5 turnovers especially when 4 of those go for touchdowns (saying this makes me feel better). My hats off to OU. They had the better stat where it counted, the scoreboard.

So McCarron goes off to the draft with 3 national champinship rings and a lot of great stats. How much money will he make in the next few years? Congrats to that young man. One thing for sure I would like to meet him and shake his hand.
If I was in a greeting line I would not bother shaking Johnny Football's hand. I suspect he will be another crying Tebow talent has-been in no time.

G'day!

Not sure what you mean by "crying Tebow talent" Glen.
Tim Tebow is one of the greatest college quarterbacks to ever play the game. I'm not going to comment on what happened to him (other than helping take the Broncos into the playoffs) in the NFL because it would sound like excuse making. But I don't feel anyone has the right to disparage the man for anything he has accomplished in his life thus far, all things considered. Regarding last night game - congrats to Coach Stoops and the Sonners. They played lights out against a very talented and well coached Bama team. As far as I'm concerned Bama has nothing to feel ashamed of - Oklahoma was on their game and played brilliantly. I'm looking forward to watching Trevor Knight next season. That kids has moxy!
