Popping some caps............
Went to the range this afternoon. After tonight it is going to start getting cold so I took advantage of a 60 degree afternoon. Took along 4 of my favorites all of which are oldies. All .22 rimfire also. They included a pre war Colt Woodsman Target, Colt Officers Target 6" bbl., Colt Police Positive Target 6" bbl and an Official Police with adjustable sights and 6"bbl. The 3 revolvers were made in the 30s but are in great shape. The object of their attentions was a falling plate target set that my Wife bought for me for Christmas. Pretty neat, knock down 3 plates and the 4th one hit resets them all. No running down range to set things back up! The only drawback was knowing that I was burning up some .22 ammo that will be hard to replace at a reasonable cost.

Sounds like fun. Any idea where your wife picked up that target? My son would love that with his .22 rifle.
