Thank you Vinny!

Yet another example of how great this board is. I found a 68.5-69 decklid in NJ on Craig's List. Owner wouldn't ship, wouldn't take Paypal and hold and although a good price, driving down for it wasn't an option.

Sent Vinny (VINMAN) a PM asking if he was close, he responded about a half hour a way, and the man took time out of his day and working on his Jeep to go down and get it.

Thank you Vinny, dinner and beer's are on me next time I'm in NY!

Wow, that's bad luck anytime, doubly so in the middle of the gnarliest winter in years.

Taking a break to pick up a decklid probably seemed like a little vacation.

(It was still exceptionally nice of him to take time out to do this favor!)

Very cool. Vash did something similar for me many years ago when I had my '70T, one of many reasons why I hope he comes back to the forum.

I suspect a Jeep would be just the thing to be driving during the storm of the century too.

Man that lid looks perfect.

That is going to be a heavy deck lid with all those 10 lb weights stuck on it.

Shaun, once again, it was no problem at all. You don't owe me anything. More than happy to help you out. Plus was a nice mini-road trip with one of my furkids.

Here's the minor issue with my Jeep.. Few rolls of duct tape should do it...

Aluminized tape would probably work better than the cloth stuff. Just sayin'.
