There are some arrogant/pompous individuals in all professions/trades. However there is nothing to be done to change their personalities. Avoid them or tolerate them. Take the high road and respect their education!:)

I am not sure if this whole post is in halve jest or what.....But you guys with this problem..have you publicly posted a question for the engineers aboard here?
I recommend you try it !
I have had excellent results....and
Some of my questions have been OUT THERE ! LOL
My last one was about friction and belt losses. very open ended I know.
I was sent off to pages of engineering material that i did not understand, BUT They tried.
In the end i did get my answer..
So.give these guys a try here, I think you might like it

Should we auction off the rights to shoot old, arrogant bull engineers?

We could use the proceeds to fund scholarships.

Now that's funny!!! Make sure the ones that get shot are only the old ones that don't use modern computers or calculators.
