I think I'll skip Nomadland. But I'm still a big fan of Frances McDormand, odd as she may be. "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" is excellent. I know it's been mentioned here before.

Day After Tomorrow. 2004, disaster move move with Quaid and Gyllenhaal. Long hood Porsche gets nailed by a flying bus. Guy trying to start uses a key on the right side....musta flipped the negative or something.

Saw Nobody in a theater today. It was very enjoyable. Available to stream for $19.95 at this time. The trailer gives too much away, in my opinion.

Yes,I really like Frances' Movies: Fargo and 3 Billboards were both great, but this last movie not so much. Oh yeah and the song in Three billboards by "Townes van Sandt" "If I had a buckskin stallion" is a GREAT song

Don't die of shock...instead of a pool matchup for my nightly late night viewing on youtube, I stumbled across an old western. Not all that old, made in 2001. Great cast.
"Warden at Red Rock". James Caan playing a prison warden, set in 1910. If you haven't seen it...it's a damned fine flick. (edit) Should warn the youngsters here...no nudity or computer tricks. They may not like it...

Dont breathe. Three robbers break into a house. The blind resident locks them in. Much terror ensues. Not a bad movie.

i'm watching this movie now. I am in it for four days. I get some watching in, and I get weary and tap out.

it is good, but it is kinda slow. slow but interesting, if that makes any sense.

I had high hopes for Without Remorse. I’m a big fan of Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, and Guy Pierce. The Tom Clancey connection I read was thin. The action was good and it’s very watchable, but that’s all for me. Maybe this will lower your expectations. Streaming for free on Amazon Prime.

"Cold Pursuit" was on cable FX this weekend. Good revenge flick with Liam Neesen doing the revenge!

I missed Terminator: Genisys back in 2015. I actually like this one. It's like the original timeline, but with changes from previous time travels. It's got the occasional glimmers of humor, and a lot of references to past episodes in the series. Not keen on the casting of Kyle Reese with Jai Courtney, who is better at bad guys (the bad guy from the first Jack Reacher), but what can you do.

Just finished watching "Papillon". Been a while since I've watched it and forgot what a freaking amazing movie it is.

Dustin Hoffman is fantastic!

I forgot too about Anthony Zerbe as the leper colony chief.

That Mother Superior that turned him in always ticks me off!

Great episode. Star Trek was so far ahead of it's time it's ridiculous! Shatner really makes the show though. He was in a lot of other shows too. Westerns like The Big Valley, The Virginian, & Gunsmoke.

Yesterday SyFy had a Twilight Zone marathon and I tuned in for some of them. Another TV show way ahead of it's time. The Shatner episode with the plane is classic!
