Wish You Were Here (2012) - IMDb Simple plot, full of nuances, good acting, thriller without being a thriller.

Headhunters - IMDb
Norwegian. Cliche plot but well made. It gets a bit gruesome.

Nitro Circus: The Movie (2012) - IMDb
MTVs Jackass stunts on steroids.

Duel and Slither.....two Classics!!!

I ended up falling asleep last night before my movie even came on. Been burning the candle at both ends lately. After work - sleep pretty much trumps everything else...lol.

On right now TCM - started at 8pm - saw this with my Dad when it first came out in '66. Dad passed away 2 years later so when I see this I always think of him. Very good movie.

That scene in the engine room was classic!

Po-han, "the bilge coolie" played by Mako

Shirley Eckert, the teacher at the mission played by Candice - very young and as you say --- very beautiful!

One of my favorite McQueen flicks for sure....
https://www.morrisonhotelgallery.com...20980x9808.jpg

Little known fact - McQueen happened to run by a school for underprivileged Chinese children during the filming of "The Sand Pebbles" and immediately wrote out a check for $20K. This was in 1966. He then sent them the same amount every year until 1980, the year of his death. No one ever knew about this until his passing.

Me too.
I read once where it was known that she was highly respected in Hollywood for having an honorable life style. 'Never slept around.
Cute, too,...IMO.
