Not saying Duel is on a par with Jaws. Just suggesting it as you're so movie oriented (as am I). For what Shaw is known for, I agree Jaws was his best. Scheider's done some other good stuff I like, especially 2010: The Year We Make Contact and Blue Thunder. I like Dreyfuss as much in The Goodbye Girl and Close Encounters.

Those are some other great movies also for the actors mentioned. I'll add Mr Holland's Opus for Dreyfus, The Sting and The Deep for Shaw, and Marathon Man for Scheider. There are so many others they shined in......especially Shaw. He reminds me of Denzel - bringing it for every role! |

Jolt. Kate Beckinsale doing a great impersonation of Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde. Messed up plot and story but it was fun to watch.

I just watched "The Tomorrow War"... Not a great movie but certainly entertaining.

Watched "Hunting Emma" last night South African film. Turn on subtitles. Pretty good. One scene misstep toward the end, but worth a watch. |
Just saw The Protege in the theater tonight. I had low expectations based on the reviews, but it was my kind of movie and I was bored. I thought it was quite good. I'm now a bit of a Maggie Q fan, and have come to really respect Michael Keaton's acting. This trailer won't spoil it:
