I have it on Blue-Ray and have watched it probably 6 different times....A great movie.
If you like his movies...'Parasite' is as good or better imo.

Gold & Greed the Hunt for Penn's Treasure on Netflix.
Story of a wealthy 85 year old man who tries to give away $2-3 million in a hidden treasure chest.
He authors a book of poems with clues and it all leads to trouble instead of what he tried to do. A good true story.

A Bronx Tale was on today. Not terribly deep but a good watch. I actually like Deniro in this as he’s subdued and I love the working class guy he plays. Blue collar wholesome.



Separately I’m wondering why Gangs of New York is never on. Phenomenal movie that stays with you long after it ends. Daniel Day-Lewis is epic in this.
My favorite DiCaprio movie until Django (dinner table scene possibly most epic ever recorded imo).

The heaviness of Gangs leads me to another very intense flick- American History X. Ed Norton is so good. Tough to watch which I think makes it great.

2025 marks 70 yrs since James Dean's crash. I've taken Hwy 46 to Laguna Seca many times and have seen the signs for the Dean site. I'm aware of the 550 mystery but other than that didn't know the history until I watched a youtube that went into detail and found it interesting. That inspired me to watch Rebel Without a Cause on Prime which I thought was good.

There is a similar Y intersection in So Cal that claimed my '65 Mustang last year. If the crash wasn't bad enough, it was followed by the tow truck scam, which was followed by foot-dragging insurance and ridiculous low ball offer, which led to the shop impound scam.
