Watched "Drive" the other night.

Was a long odd movie about a idiot savant driver that knows martial arts with an 80s feel. Or did misinterpret that movie?

B-movies, a good description. Some times I need to be in the mood to watch them. Sometimes I can only take 10 minutes. I gave an Amy Schumer movie about that before I found Upgrade. For some reason she irritates me.

You are a better man than I am if you can go the full 10 minutes.

It will not happen again. It was a painful 10 minutes.

Tonight I watched, Reprisal. Bruce Willis shoot em up. Lots of shoot em, not so much Bruce Willis. Pretty good for what it is. I do wish someone in Hollywood would figure out that you can not get 100 shots from a 9 round magazine. :D:D

Got about a third of the way through Reprisal and quit. Ugh.

ZERO percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes! Never seen that before.

Mr Willis usually does a good shoot'em up.

He has had made a few boneheaded moves, but not too many.

Harrison Ford as well. Can usually count on his being a good movie. Usually.

Maybe I should have said, it was better than the other crap that was on TV at the time. Definitely not Bruce' best work.

The Commuter. Suspense on a train. Liam Neeson. Good stuff.

JackDidley 01-12-2019 07:45 PM

Sububuricon. A twisted story of murder and mayhem in a small community in 1959. Not sure how else to describe it. Matt Damon is the main character.

Paycheck. Ben Afleck scifi futuristic action movie. Nothing special but fun to watch.

ckelly78z 01-14-2019 02:35 AM

We just watched "Commuter" with Liam Neeson last night...a pretty good movie with a good plot, and action, but follows along with every other Liam Neeson movie in theme.

From watching youtube reviews, he was just hoping to be a "real human being" and he failed. The elevator scene kind of spoiled it for his love interest.

Albert Brooks was outstanding.
