Fully agree, and that is one of the best looking movie cars created.
Course, this is still cooler. :D

Eleanor must have a stock 289 if it topped out at 110 in third.

Still my favorite, May have to watch it again tonight.

"In the Heat of the Night" on TCM.

Talk about a classic!

Steiger is unreal.

Poitier is also great . Super movie for its time.

Baz, I just watched, in the heat of the night. Just as good as I remembered. Thanks for the idea. And, thank you Firestick.

You're welcome and good on ya, Jack!

BTW, the reason I singled out Steiger is he was a method actor.

Poitier was excellent but not a method actor.

Poitier was amazing in all he did, for sure.

But Steiger - in a class by himself!

Released in 1979 and directed by Francis Ford Coppola this was a heavy movie. Martin Sheen was so young! Some fantastic narration too. I hadn't seen it in a while but this segment popped up in my feed so.....

Arthur Kennedy was pretty good in "Lawrence of Arabia".

"How the West Was Won" narrated by Spencer Tracy. Also the remake of "The Magnificent Seven" with Denzel. Both I've watched several times and worth watching again. Don't mess with Denzel!

I thought Keanu was great in the Matrix movies....but in the John Wick movies he is better yet.

Baz 06-02-2021 02:48 PM

It’s a great movie. And the very best scene is when the guy has his wife walk in on him with another woman and he denies what she saw.

"Deny deny deny!" :D

Jayne Mansfield.......hubba hubba........sadly her last movie role before her death in an auto accident. :(

Cameos appearances......that's what makes the movie so cool! I was trying to guess all their names during the movie and got most of them. Boomer and proud of it! SmileWavy

A thriller on Netflix starring Emily Ratajkowski. (with some very hot scenes of her)
Otherwise..predictable.

Star wars attack of the clones. My god it was so bad. Even Natalie Portman couldnt save it.

Nice! Thx for the head's up, Brian.

Watching "The Martian" again on FX. Seen it several times before but just seems I'm enjoying it more tonight.

Tell you what. Ridley freaking Scott knows how to make a freaking movie! FANtastic! :p

WOW!!! Excellent and highly recommended!

I never cared for the slapstick Jackie Chan character and in this one - he is dead serious the entire time.

Have to watch this one from start to finish or it's no good. Enjoy! SmileWavy

JackDidley 06-08-2021 08:08 PM

Nobody. This is a fun movie. Like John Wick only better. Way better.

Fast Freddy 944 06-10-2021 08:41 AM

How about an old Disney classic?<iframe width="615" height="346" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fCe2sZh-zkU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I really enjoyed Palmer. Ryder Allen, who plays the little boy, is remarkable.

Here's a handy dandy list to find something to watch. I've only see two of the top fifty, and I tend to watch a lot of recently released movies. The first ones I'll check out are Promising Young Woman and Riders of Justice. There's probably some gems in this list.

Watching "Chino" from 1973, w/Chuck Bronson and directed by John Sturges. On GRIT-TV!

Fast Freddy 944 06-11-2021 04:27 PM

How bout this one? <iframe width="615" height="346" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hhhyPc1epo0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Steve Carlton 06-11-2021 08:33 PM

That one is... a masterpiece. I watched that many, many times, and read the book after I saw the movie. Kubrick was a genius and I never saw anything better from Malcolm McDowell.

Steve Carlton 06-11-2021 08:40 PM

I just finished Riders of Justice. One of the oddest movies I've ever seen, but couldn't take my eyes off it. A dark comedy/revenge movie. Don't watch the trailer- just watch the movie with subtitles. The dubbed voices are horrible.

JackDidley 06-13-2021 09:20 PM

The little things. Set in the late 70s. Denzel is a cop looking for a killer. Not your average Denzel movie, for sure.
