But back to the thread title, myself and my 13 year old daughter mostly watch, Jaws, RockyII, III and IV, Terminator 1 and 2, and the new Stephens king IT movie, Back to the Future, Super 8 and i Robot, to name but a few of our favourites that get watched over and over. Inside Out is also a very good film, animated but a great movie. Oh and Shark Tale is another of our family favourites.
There probably are a few others I have missed, but you get the jist, we do love a movie...

How it ends. From Netflix. For 2 hours I kept waiting for it to get good. It never did.

Surrogates. 2009 Bruce Willis flick. Scifi movie about a future where people live through the eyes of robots or synthetics. It is the type of movie I like and it was a fun sort of action movie.

Hahahhahahahhah, and I thought I was the only one. BTW, not laughing at you, but with you.

I think this was the first Netfix movie I watched. Pretty good story line and effects. At least the wife and I enjoyed it.

Good movie too.

I used the water crash scene of the in a power point presentation when I instruct a HEED class. Escaping from an aircraft that goes into the water, basically.

I was searching for the exact scene for the post but instead, I found this. It's movie related so some of you might find it interesting.

Here is a question for the movie gurus.

A few years ago we picked up the entire 007 Blue Ray collection.
It just occurred to me that the 1983 film “Never Say Never Again” Sean Connery is not in the collection. I take a quick google search and am shocked at the stand alone price for the movie.

WTH?!?!?!? Is up with that??????

Why would this film be excluded?

Random Sunday Question

You don't really count it as a bond film add to James bond movies come out the same year and that was more of a farce than they he and Fleming 1. Personally I like the movie object cool bike cool cars but it's not considered 1 of the actual James bond movies which is kind of crazy since it's got the original James bond

Never Say Never Again, essentially a Thunderball remake that officially sits outside of the James Bond canon. But of course, it IS a Bond film. And it stars Sean Connery, who had vowed to 'never again' play Agent 007 following the 1971 release of the tepidly received Diamonds Are Forever.Jan 29, 2015

Good info, thanks Byron. I remember seeing it in the theaters back in the day and being a kid, just rolled along as a normal Bond film and didn’t think anything was amiss. I do recall the hotness of Michelle Feiffer though.

As I work through the collection, I am finding myself looking past the cheesy acting and focusing on the old school metal and businesses that are no longer around or have changed through the years.

Just finished Goldfinger. The flying scenes were hilarious.

Divergent. George Orwell came to mind just a few minutes in. Lots of action . I liked it a lot.
