Fuchs on a 997....uh oh....wallet burning in pocket...

Yeah, THANKS Nathans Dad. You got me thinking....

I need new rubber, and I can't say I've ever been a big fan of my 'lobster claw' wheels. Black 997S with Fuchs?....ohhhhhhhhhh.....me likes. Suncoast sells the wheel/Rubber package for $5600.

If I had the coin... 19x10s in the front, 19x12s in the rear. Matte black with a silver line on the inside of the lip.

Those look damn nice.

I think the cup wheels are ugly.
They are the worst part of the 964 look.
I think my ideal 911 is the 964 + Fuchs

Looks great. Personally I'd ditch the Porsche crests over the centre bores.

IMHO, a fella could find wheels that look better on that car. I like old school fuchs but find they really only look correct on old school p-cars and some VWs. As always, ymmv, blah, blah, blah.

If you do the Fuchs, you have to do M030 suspension.

What are the specs on those wheels? Are they in fact forged Fuchs, or are they a cheap, sand cast knockoff, weighing more than the wheels you're replacing them with and prone to catastrophic failure when a chunk breaks off due to an air bubble in the Bronze Age casting?

They look great...just asking.

Uh, assuming they are truely fuchs then I don't even know why you're asking.

My Cayman has the lobster claws as well and if I had that scratch I would do it.

I don't though.

Sad Mikester.

Sorry to be the dissenting vote, but I'm not a fan of the "new" Fuchs. The spokes/petals are too narrow for my taste. Somehow the proportion is off in my mind's eye. But obviously I'm in the minority.

What? Asking the question pretty clearly indicates that there is no "assuming they are truely Fuchs".

Yes, and, of course, "to look like authentic Fuchs" is the goal of knock-off manufacturers.

I'd simply like to know if these wheels are, in fact, forged aluminum alloy wheels, as were the original Fuchs, or are they NOT?
