How about this?
Makes me piss sick (regional term) when announcers say "he's courageous or he's a hero " for catching a pass over the middle or fighting off a double team.

Want to be "courageous or a hero", catch that pass with snipers in the luxury boxes shooting at your skinny azz while you do what your paid to do. Cut the scheisse, you play a game, and get paid to do "your job." You're not in a "war" or going to "battle."

Baz,
Thanks buddy.
Found out I lost a buddy yesterday who "fought the fight."
Wish he and his family had only dropped a pass or lost a game.

I like the ideas so far. I'm going to combine a couple and say that Motorhead plays a pre-game show, Lemmy then infects everyone with typhoid, then the Pats and Bears play to a tie. And then Bruno Mars dances so fast he explodes and his skull shrapnel hits Madonna, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Beiber wherever they happen to be in the world.

another 'wardrobe malfunction', but then the exposed nipple literally cuts some glass because it is so cold.

Hard to argue with that. The real heros don't get multimillion dollar contracts or Nike commercials.

As for the original question, I would vote for a competitive game that goes deep into the 4th quarter and is decided by a last second score.

I want to see a forward pass (or kick) hit a 50mph wind and reverse trajectory.

There was a highlight on ESPN earlier this season from a college game. The field was kicked from the 35, made it as far as 5 yards into the end zone, then landed around the 10. Pretty funny to actually see happen.

I just want to see a great game! IMO, to make it "THE BEST ONE EVER...", I would propose no threads like this one, no media hype EVERY damn day, nary a TV newscast regarding the commercials, no overhyped (typical suckity) boring long HT show, a few thousand empty seats in the stands, TV statistics that make congressional approval ratings appear lofty, and a couple of teams battling it outside in the elements. I'm pretty sure NONE of this will happen except for perhaps the last one. The media has ruined what used to be a game for "football fans" (which I am one) imo.

ps: Oh yeah, one more thing...NO idiotic posturing, prancing, etc. after every stinking play and no such nonsense replayed by the media machine either. Treat it like a 300lb streaker in an "ice bowl"...cut to the "puppy bowl" instead

I hate all the crap that is associated with the SuperBowl but they suck the people in so they can all make money, everyone wants their pound of flesh and the stupid football fans are more than ready to accommodate. Why would someone pay thousands of $$ to go to this game, especially in the Meadowlands.

I'll watch the game but it is rarely the best football of the season and I'm beginning to think the wardrobe malfunctions are really orchestrated. Hell, it's all orchestrated.

My ultimate game would be seeing heavy rain and temps just above freezing just to insure they never have it there again. I want to see all these *******s suffer.

The best thing that could happen would be for me to hit all my bets and some TV channel to run a Lingerie Football game during the SB halftime.

This game has a chance of being one of the few that lives up to the pre-game hype. No matter which team comes out on top - I just want to see some entertaining football & as others have stated, would like to dispense with some of the superfluous crud associated with the event - I know -Not gonna happen

Cheers

I was going to chime in with just "nekkid chicks" but I see that's already been mentioned.

So....

A tiered pricing model for office gambling pools so the gambling is not 93% over before the event starts!

Just the type of extraneous crap that I personally can do without. I mean..."flaming chainsaws"...isn't that taking the entertainment value it just a bit TOO far

ps: What chainsaws? ....I sure didn't notice any chainsaws

The score at the end of each quarter: Seattle ends in "1" and Denver ends in "6" = $1,000 to me from the office pool. Other than that, totally indifferent.
