Mushroom clouds are not restricted to nuclear explosions......

It was on his wrist, the bomb. So suspect it was not TNT. |
Night shots of actors in cars. There's always a light in the cabin so you can see the talent.

The detonation of the bomb results in an explosion of unclear composition and chemistry — while the blast often creates a sizeable mushroom cloud, the explosion itself is not thought to be nuclear in nature. However, exposure to such a blast has been known to create ailments comparable to radiation sickness in humans. What the hell do I know? All my ex-wives say I suck, so I must be an expert.:D |
Cast Away is on right now. Can a jet engine keep running after the plane crashes in the ocean?
Once Tom Hanks surfaces by the engine then it grenades. |
The errors with large commercial trucks - air brake systems are need to RELEASE the set (parking) brakes, then go forward, the trailer brakes will SET as soon as the e-line to the tractor is broken etc. Literally - break the e-line and all 8 tires will lock up on the trailer like BAM. In the movies, they'll disconnect the trailer and it just keeps rolling.
And the errors with the hazardous materials are simply appalling. Even on Breaking Bad there were obvious packaging errors with the chemicals, etc. Would have thought that show would get the hazardous materials packages exactly right but they have wrong colors and classes on drum labels in several episodes. Those errors really jump out at me... angela |
..none of the girls look like the girls in the movies....

"Forrest Gump"...
For a person who let things happen(and none too bright) as opposed to MAKING things happen in one's life...it just didn't pan out as remotely 'believable'. |

Not everyone will agree, but it is interesting reading. Explosions in fiction movies "in space" do not bother me because the movie is fiction afterall... Changes in reflection off of a sunglasses in fiction movies because of shortcuts with digitally added backgrounds make it harsh for me to immerse myself in a movie. I find physical objects with continuity errors do not bother me as much as digital objects and environments that were not properly done. In the Fast and the Furious, an actress is holding an apple juice as it cuts between angles in a conversation, the apple juice is instantly being held at a different rotation. This doesn't bother me, as others have said, I can find some continuity errors to be amusing to see/notice. |
1. Patient in Intensive Care, ventilated. Not a nurse to be seen.
2. Someone shot, thrown back 10 feet, no exit wound. 3. Someone hit by car, lay dieing in the street. Hardly a hair out of place. No degloving, no traumatic amputation, no head injuries, just a dribble of blood from the corner of their mouth. 4. Someone arrests, medics commence CPR with running commentary "Don't you die on me now....etc". When patient does die, doctor kicks / punches crash cart / wall / IV stand in frustration. |
Here is a snippet from X files. Scully and company have bio helmets that illuminate their faces. You could not see anything given your eyes would adjust to the bright light.
Speaking of X files, I was on set for the complete shooting of "Home" the episode with the Peacock family. It was so over the top that it was only shown once. I remember a set in the local graveyard in North Vancouver. It involved an open grave, casket, and embalming material. A KILLING frost hit the Vancouver area. The casket was frozen in place. with the rest of the material. They left if that way for 2 weeks. No signage, none. People were freaked, really freaked. Jeez. |
Scenes where someone is watching a house or building, waiting for someone to come out as they sit in a car. But the car is only like 2 cars down from the subject, or across the street and 2 cars down. The subject comes outside and never notices some dufuss sitting in their car staring them down.

Even better are the technicians that can enhance a video and zoom in and read the license tag of a car a block away from the reflection in a window across the street from a ATM security video camera. |
hmmmm
