Merlin from BBC is fun, if you like that kind of stuff. An interesting take on Merlin & Arthur.

Sherlock on BBC.
Only 3 episodes per season but each episode is 90 minutes so they are like mini movies.

Netflix is to blame for my addiction to The Walking Dead. Though after reading this thread, I am now going to torment my wife with Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

A lot of the same stuff is on Crackle, which is free. Use your 'smart device' to get it. Including phone and computer.
I killed Netflix streaming because I was able to watch everything I felt was worth seeing (including Lost, which I had never watched) in about 8-9 months. A year later, I re-subscribed for a month, and so little of value had been added, I terminated it after that month. Movie content is poor on Netflix, with very few highly rated films and a lot of junk. I will say, however, that if you watch documentaries, all the services -- free and paid -- tend to be good in that respect.
