Pelican Members near Key Largo/Marathon? need help.

Hello. Wondering if there is any Pelican members around this area. Planning on taking MC to Key West but need to drop off Jeep & Bike trailer before (around Key Largo,Layton,Marathon, - anywhere before the 7 bridge) so I can hit the Overseas Highway. I'd be glad to put up a few $'s to grab a spot for 3/4 days max. thanks SEAN

Well there are a few things you might try.

There's this place, motorcycle rental florida keys, harley rental and, they may let you leave a hauler/trailer for a couple of bucks. Since they rent bikes I assume customers leave vehicles from time to time.

Campground down the road a piece, Key Largo Kampground Rates,

There is a U-Haul Storage lot, U-Haul Moving & Storage of Key Largo

Get a camping spot for the night. Google 'marathon florida camping'. Lots of options. You don't have to stay there, just use the spot for parking.

You could also try and exploit the public boat ramps. Some of them have parking.

Be careful the Overseas Hwy. Its a nice cruise, but you've lots of gray hairs (perhaps you are one yourself ) driving, drunks, impatient tourists, etc. If you really want to drink, stay on Key West.

Stomachmonkey == thnx for the info, all hooked up at the U-haul in kLargo. only 79$ for a week, perfect solution

HardDrive== Yeah I'm well aware of all the brainless idiots on the streets, the thing that worries me on US 1, especially after 7 mile bridge, the long strait road, someone returning home gettin' a little sleepy, someone else coming the other direction, he/she drifts over the line ....road pizza

Talking about pizza... There is a GREAT pizza spot just north of the bridge in Marathon.
