Atlanta people are you ready this time?

Looks like winter is dropping in for another visit tomorrow. Stocked up on anything?

"
Much of Georgia will be slammed with sleet, ice, snow and high winds in the hours before daybreak Wednesday, and there could be power outages that will rival the days thousands went without electricity in 2000, according to a National Weather Service briefing given to agencies based at the Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s command center just before noon Tuesday."

Weather Service: Winter storm

I'm sure everyone has emptied the stores of milk and bread to make those nasty sopwith sandwiches they seem to want to make for these storms.

I just got to work. Roads were empty. My 1 hr commute only took 35 minutes today. Everybody needs to stay home all the time. Lol.

I have heard a few people have already started parking their cars on the interstates to make sure they get a good spot when the storm hits...

Around here with a forecast of snow or ice folks seem to want to buy the "three whites"milk, bread & toilet paper. All I can figure the average buyer wants to make a lot of French toast and they already have eggs, and it gives real bad them diarrhea.

I just make sure my gas tank is full and I have a good supply of beer.

With a full gas tank and a 4x4, there's no way in hell that I'm running out of beer.

I just talked to my daughter down in Atlanta this morning, and she said they set up porta potties along the highway for this storm! I wonder if they are the pay as you go type?

Well, perhaps the mayhem from the previous storm was a blessing. Its seems like everyone is taking this one a lot more seriously.

I drove to work today no different than any other day for me but I only saw one other car on the road. Not much stops my 4 x 4 diesel dually she's a tank Everyone was much better prepared but tonight/tomorrow morning could be very ugly if the forecast is accurate.
