Sad times. Turds in military gear without a war.

Chilling
I remember the one where they were holding a family at gunpoint and an officer blew an 11 year old boy's head off with a shotgun. Boy was laying face down on the floor when it happened. They did not find any drugs in that one either, which seems to happen frequently. The cop is still a cop, "did nothing wrong" and Modesto paid millions.

If I hear the words: 'A departmental review found officers were acting within their authority and cleared to return to duty' one more time when an unarmed civilian (innocent or not) is shot... I'm gonna puke.
Recently, a kid who was handcuffed in the back of a police car was ruled by the police to have shot himself in the head with the arresting officer's pistol. Case closed.

Regardless of how noble or ridiculous, the gov't at will uses the military or police to do their dirty work.
Cracking an 18-year/100-LB girl over the head, or spraying mace into ones face while cuffed and kneeling on the ground doesn't quantify as 'hero' to me. There's always going to be people placed or trained for jobs which they are ill-suited. Trying to flush them out, or even from hiring them is another matter.
