I can't spend 35 minutes watching some guys who know much less than me talk about my favorite car.

+1. I made it a few minutes in, then clicked 15 minutes ahead to find they were rambling about the same thing. Yawn.

An early 911 "is going to make a lot of noise and not go very fast..."

WTF do they get these idiots?

Yup, set of clown monkeys. They lost me when they started harping on about how wonderful the 964 is.

Shame of it is, if they did know their stuff, this could have been an interesting video.

I subscribe to /DRIVE, mainly so that I can see the Chris Harris, Tuned and Big Muscle episodes as they release. I was looking forward to this, but it was a colossal anti-climax.

Paul's right - the premise could've been great.

That's a function of Hondas getting fast, not old 911s being slow.

They haven't change the laws of physics in the last 40 years. People did not pay a middle class year's salary for slow sports cars in 1972.

They loved the 964 but couldn't say where exactly these all leak from. I don't get the 964 love at all. Have you driven one in stock form? That 5 speed alone is worth skipping it.

Some info was just wrong too, i.e. that the SC was the first 911 hampered by smog ...

I did look at the whole video while doing something else. I was also irritated by all the talk on pricing. They just helped jack up the prices more by doing that. Maybe they have a couple dozen 964 stashed away ...

Not me. My 1994 964 Targa was by far the most enjoyable Porsche I have owned, and I've owned at least one from every decade up through the '90's.

They are so much better looking than the accordion bumper cars...

They lost me when they got the early years wrong.

Talk about drone. I have half the knowledge of some of you guys, and even I could do better!

I watch drive solely for Chris Harris. He is a fantastic journalist. His review of the P1 was epic. Not the same style of TG, but his ability to present tech is very well put.
