I think the city council in LA just banned them, but at the same time, if you asked them about Pot, they would vote FOR IT. they said they worried E cigs would lead people to smoke real cigarettes, but it's ok to smoke pot. strange people these.

stomachmonkey 03-04-2014 07:10 PM

Lead people to smoke real cigarettes.

Not likely.

One of the reasons smokers are switching is because of the high cost of cigarettes.

Vaping is significantly cheaper.

I have been a heavy smoker for a while now... I was able to quit with vaping. It really is the cure for smokers. Eventually, you can lower the nicotine level to nothing... Btw, I do have two brand new / sealed Ehpro EA Clones that I will let go of for $70. shipped for the pair. Will throw in two new Kamry X9 Tanks as well. From previous experience with ecigs, I purchased a few of them thinking they would need to be replaced from time to time. Not so with the EA Clone, it is rock solid! I paid about $50. a piece for them and another $9. a piece for the tanks, so this is a good deal.

E-cigarettes now treated the same as regular ones in Los Angeles, starting today.

Meanwhile obesity has become the number one killer of adult males in Aus. I'm guessing it's the same in the US.

I smoke 6 cigs a day. I've been doing that for 11 years.
I know I need to quit but I've worked very hard over a long period of time to loose weight. (43 pounds over 5 years)
Honestly, I don't know what to do.

The atomizers in those tanks are awesome. They seem to last forever. I used to get maybe a week out of the cartomizer style. The Ethpro EA is not variable voltage is it?

Been thinking hard about the Zomax Mini.

I like these attys, I use the K9's and the Kangertech Protanks. The K9 is basically a copy of the Protank. The EA Clone is a copy of the high dollar "Electric Angel" mod. you can use a kick in it. I mainly run 18650's in mine, but you can drop the battery size down to a smaller battery to go into "Stealth" mode.

Not the best picture, but here is the setup. I rebuild my own attys, I purchase my wic and wire off of fleabay.

Hmm, looks like a reasonable sized mod. I don't like the "flashlight" sized mods. I want it to fit concealed in the palm of my hand.

I still run the high capacity e-go style dual voltage with USB interface and Kanga tanks. Really convenient because you can always charge them just about anywhere without need to carry an extra charger.

Is the button lockable? You know the 5 click lock? Seems it could fire in your pocket if not.

You wanna sell just one of your EA's?

futuresoptions 03-05-2014 08:58 AM

Yeah, when you have the 18650 battery in it, it is fairly long. The good thing about this is, for around the house, if you are a heavy vaper, you can go all day without recharging or changing batteries. I use the protected Panasonic batteries in mine. You can get this down to palm size for stealth mode. The only issue with that is that you loose use time. Would probably be good for the movies etc... The button does lock. If you look at the picture, you will see a knurled piece right in front of the button. If you unscrew this piece outward, it locks the button and keeps it from being depressed (but it does not click).

Here is a good review of it.

I'm going to give this a go. There's an online company based in Aus I can order from.

This seems to be their most popular kit. They also sell chocolate flavored juice!

stomachmonkey 03-09-2014 06:50 AM

Thats a good starter kit. It should come with two batteries.

For juice you may want to start with a tobaco flavor similar to your brand of smokes.

What are you smoking today and how much.

A lot of people start with too high a nicotine level in the juice.

sc_rufctr 03-09-2014 07:01 AM

I smoke about 6 cigs a day so very light compared to most people. Sometimes more when I'm out with friends.

I've been looking around at custom e cigs on Google. Like WOW There's a whole industry out there I knew nothing about.

Look for a juice in the 10mg range.

I would not go higher than 12mg.

You should look for a local Vaping retail shop.

Mostly so you can try the juices. Sometimes what sounds like it may be a good flavor is anything but.

They are popping up like crazy around here.

2 years ago there was one convenient to me.

Today I have a choice of at least 6.

stomachmonkey 03-09-2014 07:49 AM

The place you found online, do they sell 10ml bottles or just 30's

If they have a "sampler" you may want to try that for both flavor and nicotine strengths

sc_rufctr 03-09-2014 08:21 AM

Because of the current laws in Aus there are no local retail shops so online is the only option.
Stupid really considering you can buy cigarettes.

They only sell 30ml bottles but I'll call their 1800 number before ordering.

stomachmonkey 03-09-2014 09:58 AM

See if these guys will ship to you.

I used them before the retail shops opened locally.

My brother has been using them exclusively for over tow years.

Great service.

Good product line.

DO NOT buy any liquids made in China.
