Lego movie

See it. Seriously. Finally saw it last Sunday. Go see it. Seriously.

Have tickets to see Grand Budapest Hotel tomorrow. Most movies we've gone out to see in a long time, but Lego movie was totally worth it, and by all accounts, Grand Budapest Hotel will be as well.

It was fun. I've seen it twice, I think my kids have seen it 3-4 times now.

It's really fun.

Yup. Awesome movie. We expected to have to suffer through so the boys could see, but were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Will be buying the DVD for sure!

Yea, I saw it with my 10 year old son. It was okay. But I wouldn't see it twice.

Agreed, great movie. I would see it again even without my kids, I suspect that there's more clever stuff that I didn't pick up on the first time.

Lifelong lego nut and was disappointed in general. The humor found in the lego video games was missing entirely.

There were some neat bits in it (the space guy with the helmet malfunction that we all had as kids, Lord Business' weapon, etc) but it just wasn't THAT entertaining to me.

It is hilarious. When I went the adults in the theater were laughing the entire movie. Great script!

I laughed and kept laughing. Funny stuff.

We saw it opening weekend and my kids have finally stopped singing that damned song.

The entire LEGO product line is crazy. Toys, theme parks, movies, etc. How do they do it?

They do it by making something head and shoulders (+) above all imitators. Is anyone else aware of another company that effectively has no peer despite being so successful at making something so simple and for so long? It's remarkable and I believe a huge advantage made possible by having to answer to zero public shareholders.

I will wait until they release the erector set movie and buy all four films as a box set.
