We need to legalize weed nationwide ASAP.

I don't indulge but apparently there are drug cartels fighting in Mexico which is causing a severe Lime shortage and prices are up 600%.

I need my Margaritas.

Why don't you have a lime tree?

If you are worried about a cold snap, put it in a container so you can bring it in. If you can't bring it in, plant it somewhere sort of sheltered, get a set of the old school Christmas lights, the big bulbs, if you wind it around the trunk, and up on the branches it will increase your freeze tolerance quite a bit. You might lose the ends of branches, and the fruit turn to mealy mush, but the tree will pull through as long as trunk and roots don't freeze. I stocked up on 75 watt incandescent lights for the trees on the side of the house, just in case

I have a lemon tree out front, drink my water with a wedge of that, or in iced tea.

My wife makes a pretty kick ass margarita. Top shelf triple sec and a splash of fresh squeezed OJ is apparently the trick. She makes a lemon drop, tastes just like lemonade, will knock you cross eyed.

I fresh squeeze limes and one orange (about 8 to 1 ratio) for my margaritas. Cointreau, Casadores Respasado tequila complete the drink! 2 parts fresh fruit juice to one part each tequila and Cointreau. Shake with ice and serve over cracked ice.

Friggin Georgia legislature voted down a new introduced medical marijuana law to legalize it. That is all the public wanted was for the state to approve a law that would not prosecute those who bring in marijuana from other states for medical purposes. A gallery full of sick children with their parents who needed the stuff to control seizures was what the bill was all about. It simply came down to transporting "oil" across state lines without prosecution.

Rather, our infamous old white boy run ultra conservative state government felt it was more important to vote for a new gun law that allows guns to be carried into churches, bars, sporting events, etc. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

Voting down the marijuana law was devastating to hundreds of families. As such, since the Governor is on the line, he is now saying, that he will try a way to get something through. for these needy families. Right!?

One day, marijuana will be legalized in all states................the tax revenues from the sales of the weed will have a major positive financial impact for all.

This of course has to be a statement by one who never smoked marijuana or it implies that one felt rather "dumb" from smoking it.

Everyone I ever came in contact with who has smoked marijuana rather enjoyed it and many felt quite inspired. Thats too bad. If they add some marijuana to their diet on a routine basis they might find that spark of inspiration and creativity they have been lacking in their lives. But, then I expect those to chime in and say they get the same out of sucking helium from a ballon.

Sorry politics down here have been a bit ass backwards since reconstruction. What makes sense does not and never will. Rather then giving in to the marijuana issue, which again would only protect those parents from prosecution when crossing state boundaries, they crapped out.................it was based on ultra conservative ideals. Afterall, it was only a year or so ago that alcohol was allowed to be sold on sunday here. Sort if sums it up down here.
