Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey
Premieres this weekend (March 9th) on a myriad of channels. Presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson (the guy who heckled the movie Gravity
![]() The previews I have seen look pretty good. I remember watching the original Cosmos series a few years ago on the Science Channel and liked it. Hopefully this new reboot lives up to the original.

There's more than just the cosmos. There's more than we can observe through our limited means. Sagan thinks the cosmos are all that and a bag of chips.

^ Japanese Alfa Spider Veloce rotary. First experience in a rotary, my old neighbor purchased a Cosmo coupe in 1976. Nothing like the car depicted above. Quite a 'buzz' sensation and quick for the time. Noted as a fuel guzzler and of course the apex seal premature wear, but my neighbor never complained or had issues with his.

George: So, did you get your new plates?
Kramer: Oh... yeah. I got my new plates. But they mixed them up. Somebody got mine and I got their vanity plates. George: What do they say? Kramer: Assman. Jerry: Assman? Kramer: Yeah. Assman, Jerry. I'm Cosmo Kramer, the Assman! Jerry: Who would order a license plate that says "Assman"? George: Maybe they're Wilt Chamberlain's. Jerry: It doesn't have to be someone who gets a lot of women. It could be just some guy with a big ass. Kramer: Yeah, or it could be a proctologist. Jerry: Yeah. Proctologist. George: Come on! No doctor would put that on his car. Kramer: Have you ever met a proctologist? Well, they usually have a very good sense of humor. You meet a proctologist at a party, don't walk away. Plant yourself there, because you will hear the funniest stories you've ever heard. See, no one wants to admit to them that they stuck something up there. Never! It's always an accident. Every proctologist story ends in the same way: "It was a million to one shot, Doc. Million to one." ![]()

I enjoyed the show.
I smirked when admitted we really don't have the answers to what's beyond our current view of the universe and the origin of life. He said all we have is guesses... Classic.
