I'm a huge Benchmade fan, but Blech!

Wood, metal, G10. I'm not a huge fan of antler, but every once in a while I see one I like.

This stuff is definitely not my thing.

I said nothing about it being slippery--but I prefer a textured grip, which I haven't seen successfully accomplished in Kirinite.

Quite stunning too, in my opinion. I think pictures don't do it justice.
And in my opinion, pictures make it look better than it does in real life.

Who here has actual experience with it?
I do. And I think it's FUGLY. G10, Micarta, and carbon fiber can all look nice when done right. The only way Kirinite would look nice is if it was painted over. Or maybe vinyl wrapped. That's it! I'll start a business wrapping ugly knife handles instead of cars and trucks!

Sorry, but no......

I agree with the "fugly" comments regarding the florescent Kirinite.

My idea of a knives (other than a good kitchen knife set and good steak knives) are a Buck 110, Schrade 60t, and Swiss Army Champion.

For more modern style knives, I really like the Mcusta MC-5 & MC-7.

I don't care for the flashy colors. I would love to have an Enzo Trapper.

Those things remind me of gas station sushi that is supposed to look like real sushi, but you just know it ain't the same as the real stuff. I mean if you're drunk enough you might mistakenly buy it but later you go "what the hell was I thinking?".

Can't comment on their performance having never used one, but based upon looks alone--no thanks. They definately look "cheap"

As posted earlier--the one on the far right looks like a plug lure.
