This is the kind of thing I have now sworn never to do again. Every time I've treated an employee with special kindness it has come back to bite me. I don't think I would feel so pissed at this woman if I hadn't bent over backwards to help her get her work done and keep her job. Never again.

Actually in California, I am pretty sure it is illegal. I was never an employer anywhere else.

I have been burned practically every time I tried to "help out" an employee.
