Amazing what someone with a passion can do with a lifetime. That is a serious project!

A graphic reminder of how much flying has changed since then. I wonder how much a first class ticket on that flight would cost in today's $$.

I wonder if they used that mockup to shoot the Pan Am stewardess TV show that lasted about four episodes?
I remember flying Pan Am Tokyo to LA then an American 707 to Albuquerque in '82. De-regulation really killed the old stalwarts, Pan Am, Braniff, TWA, Eastern.

Very Nice....thank you.
I remember the great days of Eastern Airlines and when they shut down and the Eastern Terminal was open to the public to sell all the airline stuff from blankets to cocktail glasses, napkins to life preservers, etc, etc. here at Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta. Everyone wanted a piece of Eastern Airlines history. I will assume the same held true with Pan American, TWA, etc, etc. |
