Not sure why they insist on the 2-tone. I saw three of the i8s a few weeks back and they are beautiful in person. They were solid color though. The two-tone doesn't really do it for me, and the wheels are hideous. The i3 in a solid color would be a bit more palatable - kind of Fiat-like. I like the 500e in orange...

Somebody resurrected the FIAT Multipla?????

Okay, who put the Fiat, Ford and BMW designer in the room at the same time?
|
I suspect the team at Audi is LOVING the new BMW design and engineering philosophy.

That abortion of plastic and sheet metal needs to find its way into the path of a lava flow. Preferably quickly.

All that money for an ugly car! What are the germans thinking?
|
Where did the Aztek get Pontiac?
Yea. |
They design them to be ugly on purpose. It is the same reason the prius looks like it does. More Priuses are sold then Honda hybrids because they stand out as "special" and all the special environuts want everybody to know that they are saving the planet and are better than us hydrocarbon burning mouth breathers. What's the advantage of driving these over any other vehicle -- self rightousness

I challenge any naysayer to go test drive one. Looks are one thing, but if you're not giggling like a kid when you punch it off the line, then you likely have no pulse :D
