anyone shooting 22lr revolvers ?

Just wondering if anyone on here is shooting 22lr revolvers on a regular basis ? Seems like they would be rock solid and relatively cheap to take to the range. I kinda like the S&W model 63 but I'm partial to stainless steel firearms.

Agreed. It is still very hard to find .22lr here in Va, unless you want to take it deep in the back side.
Not a revolver but I love shooting my MKII

I'm down to just two .22 LR handguns, one a revolver and one an auto. Ruger Single Six and High Standard Sport King; I would never part with either. Both used to get shot a good deal more than they do today (before the hoarders made it so difficult to find .22 ammo), to the tune of several bricks each, each and every year. I eagerly await the day where I can get back into that quantity of shooting with these. Should be soon... For now, though, a suitable substitute has been found in the form of the air pistol.

I have a Ruger Single Six. When I was young, my dad would let me carry it when we were coon hunting. Not too many 12 year olds these days get to shoot a raccoon out of a tree at 3am with a .22 pistol, while a bunch of Walkers and Blue Ticks howl for blood against the tree. Its got notches in the grip for everyone I got.

Honestly, not a very exciting gun to shoot.

In the existence of capitalism:
When has a group of manufactures(domestic or international) ever failed to fill market demand over the span of 5 years?

Garage
Hi rf, got my GS in Marietta
My retirement looms, should have some range time available soon. A S&W 617 was my first firearm incentive for not smoking for a year (I can't smoke for the next 100 years, paid in advance). Also have a couple of older 17's. Have been a fan of the H&R 999's since the 80's, still have a couple.
An Astra Cadix came through a couple of months ago, I need to post it in the random spoon thread. It was the first I had ever seen.
